A gorgeous Iris Agate cabochon cut from a piece of Botswana Agate. Gorgeously polished on all sides! This Iris Agate has been artistically wire wrapped in Sterling Silver to feature the electric fire from deep within this agate. A custom made, one of a kind necklace! 18 inch Sterling Silver Box Chain is included.

This material still has me as intrigued as the day I first seen it. Iris Agate has the capability to diffract normal light into the individual colors of the color spectrum, much like a prism. When properly back-lit, these wonderous cabochons have a gorgeous rainbow inside of them ... and are a sight to see! The photo's do not even come close to showing the remarkable coloration and broad range of the diffraction process. They are much nicer in person!!!

This cab is: 20mm x 11.5mm x 2.5mm and has the following colors: clear with various shades of pink, white and smoky gray. The optical phenomenon known as "Iris Agate" is very vibrant in this piece ... although the photo's don't show it very well. There is no way that any of these photo's can capture the true beauty of this Iris Agate cab ... it's just impossible!!! Very Vibrant!
