Extremely Rare Kornerupine found in Sri Lanka. Kornerupine is valued as a collectors gemstone especially when it is found in a faceted gemstone. Kornerupine has a hardness of 7 so it is a durable gemstone. It was named in honor of the Danish geologist, Andreas Kornerup who discovered it in 1887. No collection is complete with out a Kornerupine! This gem does have some twinkles "natural inclusions."
