When used with diamond slurry, the Last Lap™ brand facet polishing lap will produce a fast polish on quartz, corundum, beryl, peridot, tourmaline, topaz, feldspar and many other materials. The pelletized epoxy matrix resists grooving and gouging. Last Lap™ brand laps require precharging and are supplied with a 1 carat vial of 50,000 mesh diamond slurry which is to be worked into the face of the lap.
