Sunstone is a member of the feldspar gem family and is 100% natural. Color's of Sunstone gems range from fiery orange, to pale pinks, peaches, bright reds and rare green. Some Sunstones have a highly refective sheen called Schiller coming from refective copper platelets. Sunstone is durable for jewelry and registers 6.5 to 7.2 on the Mohs scale for hardness.
